Awesome buy! This was a simple setup to put together & operate via app or with the remote controller provided, colors and patterns are vibrant and diverse, I personally favor the feature of setting the light to come on at a certain time in the morning. I do use this lamp everyday since purchase. Definitely a great pick up to upgrade the aesthetic in your room or office.
Worked great for about one year and then died completely. I bought two of these at the same time and they both died a couple weeks apart after almost a year (11 months-ish). I think it's the power supply because both got very hot after being on for a while, longer than 30 minutes. Hotter than an LED strip like this should get. Shouldn't be more than a couple watts. The product page says use at least a 5V/2A outlet but if this is really pulling 10W I'd be surprised. For reference I used a 15W plug.Probably will not buy again until power supply is updated to handle the lights.
I wanted to add some ambience to my living room, and it did the trick! This lamp comes with a remote/app where you can change the color anytime!
